We went out for dinner the other night and I was surprised to find that not only did the restaurant have a very homey atmosphere, but they had decorated using item that we have in our home and one that I’m dreaming of! I was amazed! We have an antique stove sitting in the basement of our old house. It’s AWESOME! But honestly, what do you do with it? Then I walked in and they have nearly the same stove sitting in their restaurant. They’re using it as a showpiece in a grouping with greenery, a grandfather clock, and baskets. I need to go back with my camera because like I said, I have the stove and I can probably find the baskets and greenery and let me just tell you about one of the grandfather clocks I’m saving to purchase!

Howard Miller clock is just about what the restaurant had. It’s a new and beautiful clock, but has the old fashioned look that will match my stove just perfectly.

I have a Howard Miller clock in my living room, but it is a mantle clock. It’s beautiful and it’s chimes are enchanting (my favorite part), so adding another one to my house would be awesome! And it would be the perfect heirloom to pass down to my children. I would hope it would mean as much to them as it would to me. Especially having had a grandfather clock in my house growing up. It just seems to make the house a little warmer!
