Shrinking Myself!!

I have never hidden the fact that I’m a bit on the ‘rotund’ side! It’s not something I enjoy, but over the past 10 years it is something that I haven’t been able to change. Try as I may, diet as I might, I can not shed a pound. I don’t have the worst eating habits in the world, unless you consider not eating three full meals a day and snacking on the easiest thing to get your hands on ‘the worst’. But it certainly isn’t conducive to really concentrating on getting myself to the weight I really would like to be.
I took a free interactive eating survey over at www.ShrinkYourself.com and found a few new things about me. I’m not really one who eats out of loneliness, but boredom eating may be a little closer. Although it really does come down to the, “I’m hungry now, what is there to eat that requires little preparation?” So I’ve been working on having a little healthier choices around for my snacking needs. I also started to eat breakfast. Not a big one, but considering I don’t normally eat it…it’s big! My biggest change? I’ve given up soda. All soda, but the killer will be my beloved Diet Coke. This morning was the last of my caffeine withdrawal headache, so we are smooth sailing from here on out!

My soda’s were the hardest for me to give up as well. After 3 months almost i find i don’t miss them at all. Now if i could just think of chocolate the same way….UGH. Good luck though, I’ve lost 15 pounds in 3 months and it’s really made me feel so much better.
