I am the wife of a professional Chef. Because there is a lot of information to be gleaned from said Chef, and because life with four kids brings with it the necessity to cook–I’ve combined the best of both worlds into this blog. I would like to share some of the secrets from “the Chef”, some fun recipes that we love as a family, and even some of your favorite recipes from your favorite restaurants. I have to be honest, I really started this site with the hope of forcing my husband to take me out once in awhile to a fun new restaurant all under the guise of needing his ‘cheffly’ skills to help me break down and critique the food. I know–women are amazingly talented at ‘ulterior motives’!! That being said, I want to say that all restaurants and menu items that I talk about have been purchased and eaten by us. We have never received compensation (whether in the form of cash or food) to discuss something. (Although, we would gladly accept either )

I do place links on this site. Whether it is for a specific restaurant or even a menu item. Many of these links I do not receive compensation for. Others, I do make a profit from. These links are for services, products or websites that I have researched enough to satisfy my own curiosity. Just because I’ve looked into something and like it, doesn’t mean it’s perfect for you.
