My favorite part about living in Chicago in the 80’s was eating out, especially on Halstead Street. I’m not much on memory for names, but I remember Blue Mesa, Cafe Babareba and Happi Sushi fondly. Then there was Greek Town! Awesome!

We love Gordon Ramsay! I know people who don’t watch him because of the yelling, but I think most of it’s for show. I would never submit myself to his show, knowing all the yelling would take place, but it’s fun to watch and he’s really good.

I agree the BBC series is far better, they really ‘butchered’ the USA series and made it more about the weekly villain then the restaurant.

Since we homeschool, summer time doesn’t usually mean a big change. But this year my little guy’s going to summer day camp which means that for two entire months I get to find out what other Moms enjoy: having my house to myself all day long. Wheee!!!
